Compensation and Benefits

• Base Pay: $15.00 per hour ($600.00 for a 40-hour workweek), non-exempt and eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Production Incentive Plan: Earn $25 for each completed, verified inspection credited to you, plus up to $100 for each qualifying full-replacement project — up to $125 total per project.
• Company Vehicle and Fuel: A company vehicle, auto insurance, and fuel are provided for authorized business use.
• Time-Off: Two weeks (80 hours) of paid vacation after six months of continuous employment.
• Training and Development: Hands-on training in production coordination, inspections, customer service, and company systems.
• Growth Opportunities: Room to grow within the company's production team as Strong Quality Roofing expands.

Position Summary

The Production Assistant supports residential exterior projects from inspection handoff through production and closeout, coordinating schedules, customers, crews, suppliers, and project documentation. This is a hands-on, full-time role that combines production coordination, customer communication, and field support, with regular time split between the office and active job sites.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and a careful steward of company and customer resources — equipment, vehicles, materials, and trust — while managing multiple moving pieces across several active projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate job schedules, customers, crews, suppliers, deliveries, permits, inspections, and internal handoffs.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely project records, photographs, notes, measurements, selections, work orders, invoices, and status updates in company systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, sales personnel, production personnel, and office staff; promptly escalate issues as needed.
• Support material takeoffs and orders, delivery verification, returns, supplements, change documentation, quality-control checks, punch-list work, and project closeout.
• Conduct assigned site visits, protect customer property, follow safety requirements, and immediately report injuries, property damage, code concerns, or unsafe conditions.
• Canvass homes surrounding active and recently completed company projects, using approved messaging and complying with applicable solicitation laws and company procedures.
• Proactively identify and pursue legitimate sales, inspection, referral, and relationship opportunities encountered while performing assigned work, and route each opportunity to the appropriate team member.
• Support the company's goal of earning genuine five-star customer reviews through excellent service and timely follow-through.
• Act as a responsible steward of company and customer resources — safeguarding company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials, and treating customer property with the same care you'd want for your own.
• Assist with inspections, lead follow-up, customer service, warranty coordination, office operations, and other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, production coordination, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Comfortable conducting site visits and canvassing in residential neighborhoods.
• Trustworthy and careful with company vehicles, tools, equipment, and customer property.
• Candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the Company’s insurance requirements.
• Willingness to work outdoors and visit active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, walking roofs, working at heights, and inspecting active construction sites.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM systems, or willingness to learn company scheduling, documentation, and photo-tracking systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
